To clean teeth the hygienist will use a scaler to get rid of plaque and tartar around the gum line, as well as in between teeth.
The teeth cleaning process is three steps:

- Flouride: Which is a mineral that to help strengthen the enamel of the teeth, which helps agains acid attacks that contribute to tooth decay.
